About Us

University Pizza and Deli (UPD) opened its doors in 1997 on the edge of the UTC campus, first on Mcallie Ave and then on Vine Street. This is a small restaurant serving excellent food at affordable prices: an eclectic menu with a touch of the Mediterranean reflecting the characteristics of its charming and gracious owner.

At Our Place

On a typical evening you may see some UTC students, including tennis players, women soccer players, wrestlers, foreign students, faculty and staff mix with neighborhood residents, firemen, policemen, Erlanger doctors or nurses. For some, it is a home away from home. For most, it is a place where one feels part of a community.
